HOTEL ESCUELA MADRID - HEM
Antecedentes:
Con el propósito de dar respuesta a la necesidad de una población que demanda la formación y la capacitación de profesionales competitivos y emprendedores, surge el 1 de Agosto del año 2000 el Hotel Escuela Madrid, primer hotel escuela de Honduras. Financiado por la fundación española Canovas del Castillo, con el apoyo de la Cooperación Española y el Ayuntamiento de Madrid.
El objetivo principal del Hotel Escuela es el apoyo al desarrollo del sector turismo a través de la formación hotelera.
VISIÓN
Ser una institución líder en Centro América en la formación técnica universitaria y en capacitación del talento humano, para ofrecer servicios de calidad en la industria hotelera a nivel nacional e internacional.
MISIÓN
Contribuir al desarrollo del turismo de Honduras y Centro América mediante los servicios hoteleros y la formación de talento humano competitivo, tanto a los actuales profesionales como a jóvenes para que a corto, mediano y largo plazo tengan oportunidades laborales en el sector de hoteleria y empresas afines.
En el área de Formación el HEM cuenta con salones equipados con mobiliario, y equipo didáctico (pizarrón, retroproyector, televisor, VHS, pantalla, y equipo de audio) para conferencias, u otros eventos. Además, cuenta con un Restaurante Didáctico y una aula cocina con espacio para 15 personas, equipada con una estufa central y cuatro estufas pequeñas de dos quemadores, todas tienen freidora, planchas para asar y sus respectivos extractores de humo, mesas de trabajo, batería de cocina, maquinaria y equipo industrial.
Los procesos de formación del Hotel Escuela Madrid se desarrollan en las áreas de Cocina, Regiduría de Pisos, Recepción y Restaurante. El tipo de formación puede ser de Instrucción, Asistencia Técnica (previo diagnostico realizado a la empresa) y Asesoria.

Es un verdadero placer para el Hotel Escuela Madrid dirigirnos a ustedes para ofrecerles la gama de servicios para la realización de sus Eventos.
El Hotel Escuela Madrid, esta ubicado en la Colonia Girasoles, contamos con salones funcionales, 3 con aire acondicionado y 2 con ventiladores para que ustedes puedan realizar su seminario, conferencia ó Evento Social, de manera confortable.
Además disponemos de 3 terrazas, Restaurante/ bar y nuestro especial servicio a domicilio ó Catering.
Cordialmente le invitamos a visitarnos y conocer todas nuestras instalaciones y brindarle la variedad de Menús para sus Reuniones Sociales.
Estamos para servirle, será un agrado atenderle, puede comunicarse con el departamento de Eventos, para brindarles información más especifica en cuanto costo de salones, menús, servicio a domicilio, contratación de personal de servicios y otros.
